Owen and I have been in the midst of a insanely long move. The closing on our house was delayed five times, but finally, we own our first home! We moved in over the weekend and internet was just hooked up.

The whole process has been very stressful for Owen. We have not checked his levels in awhile, but his nutritionist just realized that it has been ages since he has been to UVA. I hope that when Dr. Wilson hears about Owens blood sugar issues, he takes action. We also just had his annual neurology appointment. Dr. Ringholtz is a wonderful person and has taken a interest in PKU. He has been involved in research and journal writing for other metabolic disorders. The Dr. was also concerned about the blood sugar issues. I guess we are coming to the point where I have to stop being the wife and start being the mom for a short burst and drag him (not kicking but most likely screaming) to a long set of visits with various doctors.

The walkathon, despite the wind, was a success. Many people came and some park visitors stopped by to ask what we were doing. The survey table got some good results for NPKUA as well. We brought our dog, Aspen, with us and he had fun too.
